I grew up in Lake Forest, IL and am a recent computer science graduate of Rose-Hulman Institute Of Technology. I was Chapter President of the Upsilon Pi Epsilon Computer Science Honor Society at Rose-Hulman and Social Director for the Zeta Lambda Chapter of the Delta Sigma Phi Fraternity. Over the past few years, I have spent the summers working at Aptiv (previously Delphi) in Kokomo, IN. I provided solutions for V2X technology, active safety, and passive safety in smart vehicles. In my free time, I am a full stack software contractor out of Northbrook, IL with my 1-year-old Schnauzer, Lionel.
My career goals are built in two distinct directions, ultimately choosing which direction to pursue upon completion of the Master of Science in Artificial Intelligence program at Northwestern University. The first direction is to pursue a PhD in a branch of artificial intelligence. The second direction is to spend a few years gaining fruitful experience to extrapolate to an MBA degree.
Brought on to build and maintain the full stack, my position at LineLeap has evolved to encompass all aspects of real-world software distribution. Amazon Web Services, NoSQL database management, CMS web development, and mobile development are all incorporated into the day to day tasks.
Leading a team of 3, we developed SIM2V, a DSRC application for testing of V2X technology in smart vehicles. SIM2V simulated DSRC packets to limit V2X testing requirements to a single host vehicle.
Developed C application to supplement crash sensor analysis. The application is used by forensic engineers to parse sensor data for comprehensive graphics of the events leading up to the crash.
I am currently a part of the inaugural cohort of Northwestern's Artifical Intelligence Masters program. The curriculum emphasizes functional application in industry, so there are a large number of companies partnered with the program, ultimately providing a wide range of practicums.
Graduating cum laude and president of the Computer Science Honor Society, I focused my studies on beneficial classes beyond the core curriculum. Deep Learning, Machine learning, Artificial Intelligence, and Algebraic Codes are just a few of the many applicable electives I completed to further expand my knowledge of Computer Science.
